Top 10 PropTech Sales Recruiting Agencies for 2026

The Betts Team
September 16, 2026

Across the PropTech vertical, GTM candidates are expected to bring more than technical fluency. This is true whether they’re selling AI-driven solutions or non-AI driven technology such as robotics or Internet of Things (IoT) products, including smart building devices.

PropTech buyers also share concerns about cybersecurity risks, data privacy, and energy consumption. With the vertical spanning a diverse range of stakeholders, markets, and regulatory environments, from traditional real estate technology to ConstructionTech and ClimateTech, sales reps need to understand the challenges and priorities of their prospective buyers.

A specialized recruitment agency with deep PropTech expertise can identify candidates who understand both the technical components of a product and the pain points of its prospective buyers. This varies widely depending on the operational challenges facing a commercial real estate firm, the needs of a property developer, or the priorities of a landlord or architect, and most generalist SaaS sellers do not have this industry context.

Specialized recruiting partners can quickly access relevant talent and provide tailored outreach that explains the buyer persona, product, and opportunity in a way that resonates with each candidate. This can be particularly valuable for companies selling non-AI PropTech solutions, which often face tighter funding conditions than their AI-native counterparts. For these companies, hiring teams often face even greater pressure to secure exceptional GTM candidates who can create momentum early.

Methodology

To compile a list of the top 10 sales recruiting agencies for PropTech companies, we evaluated firms across five categories: PropTech Recruiting Expertise; GTM Recruiting Specialization; Startup & Scaling Alignment; Recruiting Infrastructure & Talent Network; and GTM Recruiting Expertise & Market Intelligence.

Our data comes from company websites and LinkedIn pages, press announcements, job postings, online Google and G2 reviews, digital marketing materials, and public resources such as case studies, articles, and compensation guides.

We began by evaluating US-based recruiting firms that place sales, marketing, customer success, and/or revenue operations talent for high-growth technology companies, drawing on our knowledge of the recruiting landscape and our competitors.

Only firms that met the following criteria were further evaluated for our final ranking:

  • Demonstrated experience placing go-to-market talent for high-growth technology companies
  • Evidence of partnerships with SaaS or AI companies, preferably those in the PropTech space

The remaining firms were then evaluated against stricter criteria on a 15-point scale. We ranked the firms by how many points they earned.

If there was a tie, firms that scored higher in the PropTech specialization sub-category ranked higher. If there was still a tie, the firm that scored higher for GTM specialization received the higher ranking.

Ranking Criteria:

1. PropTech Recruiting Expertise (0–5 points)

  • 6 points: Extensive, demonstrated PropTech recruiting expertise, including multiple identifiable PropTech clients, placements, or case studies
  • 3 points: Demonstrated PropTech recruiting experience and/or several identifiable clients, placements, or engagements
  • 1 point: Limited but verifiable PropTech recruiting activity

2. GTM Recruiting Specialization (0–4 Points)

  • 4 points: Strong specialization across multiple GTM functions, including sales, marketing, customer success, RevOps, and partnerships
  • 3 points: Specialized recruiting focus within GTM, such as sales, marketing, customer success, or GTM leadership
  • 2 points: Established GTM recruiting practice in addition to other function focuses
  • 1 point: Recruits GTM roles but primarily operates as a generalist recruiting firm

3. Recruiting Infrastructure & Talent Network (0–3 Points)

  • 3 points: Proprietary sourcing technology or talent marketplace with an exclusive, measurable, and pre-vetted talent network
  • 3 points: Proprietary sourcing technology, but limited publicly available information about the underlying talent network or candidate data
  • 1 point: Established recruiter-led sourcing operation without a clearly exclusive or structured candidate network
  • 0 points: References an existing candidate network but provides limited information about how candidates are sourced or how the network is structured

4. GTM Recruiting Expertise & Market Intelligence (0–3 Points)

  • 3 points: Regularly publishes substantive, GTM-specific recruiting insights supported by original research, compensation data, hiring benchmarks, proprietary tools, or other differentiated market intelligence
  • 2 points:  Regularly publishes substantive GTM recruiting insights, hiring trends, or talent guidance, but relies primarily on expert commentary and observation rather than proprietary data or original research
  • 1 point: Publishes relevant recruiting content or thought leadership, but provides limited substantive, original, or data-driven insight into GTM hiring
  • 0 points: Little or no publicly available evidence of recruiting expertise, market intelligence, or substantive hiring insights

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How is PropTech sales recruiting different from general technology recruiting?

PropTech sales recruiting focuses specifically on hiring sales professionals for companies that develop technology for the real estate industry. While many recruiting principles are similar to general technology recruiting, recruiters often evaluate candidates for experience selling to real estate buyers, navigating longer enterprise sales cycles, or working with property management, construction, or smart building technologies.

Do PropTech sales candidates need real estate experience?

Not necessarily. While experience selling to real estate professionals can be valuable, many successful PropTech sales hires come from adjacent industries such as SaaS, FinTech, ConTech, or other B2B technology sectors. Strong sales performance, the ability to learn complex products, and experience navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles are often just as important.

What should PropTech companies look for in a sales candidate?

The ideal candidate depends on your product and target market, but companies often look for consistent quota attainment, experience selling complex software, strong discovery and relationship-building skills, and familiarity with the buyers they serve. For enterprise roles, experience managing long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers can also be important.

What types of companies do PropTech sales recruiters recruit for?

PropTech sales recruiters work with companies across many areas of real estate technology, including property management software, commercial real estate platforms, smart building technology, construction technology (ConTech), leasing and tenant experience solutions, real estate data and analytics, and AI-powered property software.

What types of buyers do PropTech sales teams sell to?

PropTech sales teams sell to a wide range of real estate professionals depending on the product. Buyers may include property owners, operators, developers, property managers, facilities teams, asset managers, real estate brokers, construction firms, and corporate real estate departments. Enterprise sales often involve multiple stakeholders across operations, IT, finance, and procurement.

How do PropTech companies find sales talent with real estate industry experience?

Many companies partner with specialized sales recruiting agencies that maintain networks of PropTech and technology sales professionals. Recruiters also identify candidates through referrals, direct sourcing, industry communities, and adjacent technology sectors where sales experience can transfer to PropTech.
