For example, we may obtain information when you login or register with us through a third party social network or authentication service, such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Google. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain Personal Information with us, which could include your name, email address, address book and contacts, or other information. Our Service allows you to connect and interact with others. If you are a candidate, your profile information, including your name, photo, and other Personal Information, will be available to employers. We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may disclose Personal Information that we collect or you provide as described in this policy:

  • With employers, if you are a candidate. We may submit your Information to companies and individuals for employment opportunities.
  • To our subsidiaries and other affiliated companies under common ownership as Betts, if any. These companies will use your Personal Information in the same way as we can under this policy.
  • With third-party data subprocessors. We authorize these subprocessors to use the information only as necessary to assist Betts Recruiting in providing the Service. For example, to provide social login, cloud storage, interview calendaring, or to help to enhance security.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties that perform services on our behalf as needed to carry out their work for us. However we do not share users phone number or consent with third-parties/affiliates partners.
  • To the public when you provide feedback or certain content on our Website. For example, if you post content on our blog or comment on our social media sites, your information, such as your name, company name, state or province of residence or business, and your comments, may be displayed on our Website or on our social media pages.

If you are a candidate, we may also call or send you text message notifications related to your account and our Service. For example, we may call or send a text when an employer sends you an interview request. By providing a mobile phone number, you authorize Betts to contact you at this number using an automatic texting system to provide information and servicing regarding your account. If you no longer wish to receive SMS texts from us you can unsubscribe by replying “STOP” to one of our texts.‌

Data Security

We are committed to protecting the security of your Personal Information. Although no security system is impenetrable, we use several industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No information is 100% secure over the Internet, thus we encourage you to never disclose or share your username and password, and to contact us immediately if you lost them or think that your account has been compromised. Deleting Your Account

Follow these steps to delete your account. Your profile will be hidden from other users immediately. Your information will be permanently deleted after 30 days. During the 30 day window, you can revert (undo) your decision by logging back in and acknowledging you want to recover your account.

  • Log into your account and select the “Settings” option from the drop down menu in the upper right corner (next to your name).
  • From the Settings menu, select “Delete your Betts Account” from the left side navigation or scroll down until you see this section.
  • Click the “I want to delete my account” link and confirm in the popup confirmation dialog.

Data Retention

We will retain personal data for as long as required to do what we say we will in this Statement, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

  • The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide our services to you (for example, for as long as you have an account with us or keep using our services);
  • Whether we have a legal obligation to keep the data (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period of time before we can delete them); or
