What happens when 13 leading tech companies in downtown San Francisco stock up on food and drinks and open their doors to over a thousand Bay Area professionals? We found out last night at San Francisco Tech Crawl 2019 – and we’re still catching our breath from an event that proved, in no uncertain terms, to be the summer’s hottest networking party. It was an honor for us here at Betts Recruiting to put on this event, and we already can’t wait for next year.
For anyone who wasn’t able to make it out – and maybe because we’re not quite ready to let go ourselves – we’re recapping some of the highlights from an incredible San Francisco Tech Crawl.
1. Betts Connect makes its debut
The Betts office kept busy throughout the night, with a big crowd enjoying food, drinks, and lots of networking. It’s also where we debuted Betts Connect, our new online platform matching professionals with top companies looking to expand their staff. On the heels of a press release we put out earlier in the day to announce the launch of the platform, the Betts team gave live demos of the platform to a steady stream of professionals eager to build their Betts Connect profile.
2. Living the sales life with Corporate Bro
From the sales floors of San Francisco tech companies, to viral video fame, to the Bay Area’s hottest networking party: the one and only Corporate Bro was a big presence at Tech Crawl 2019. Clad in his blue suit, he toured the host companies of the event and joined us for our party back at the Betts office. Throughout it all, he espoused his SADNESS theory and reminded us all that sales can be both fun and funny.
3. Nothing like the Tech Crawl 2019 crowd
From our perspective, the top highlight of the event was, quite simply, just talking to the crowd at all the host offices and seeing people enjoy themselves. The professionals who attended Tech Crawl 2019 were engaged from beginning to end. They asked questions, they made connections, they made the rounds, and they had fun while they were doing it. For us, as a company that thrives off fostering professional relationships and celebrating career development, it was truly a beautiful thing to see.
With the event behind us, we’d like to send out a big, huge, tremendous thank-you to everyone who came out to Tech Crawl 2019, and to all the companies who opened their doors.
