Here are a few picks from the Betts team, based on content, quality, excellence with in their genre, entertainment value, and of course, our exceptionally good taste.
If you haven’t heard (or perhaps you just need a little reminder), The Tim Ferriss Show is a top ranking business podcast and you should listen to it. In each episode, Tim deconstructs world-class performers from eclectic areas to extract tactics, tools, and routines we all can use. This podcast includes favorite books, morning routines, time-management tricks, and much more.
Chris Martin, Associate, in our New York office says “This podcast offers really inquisitive and deep interviews with world-class professionals, athletes, bloggers, artists, etc.”
To which Danielle Dunn, Associate replied “YESSSSSSS. Jim Ferriss!!!”
Straight from the mouths of retired Navy SEAL, Jacko Willink and Director, Echo Charles, this duo discusses discipline and leadership in business, war, relationships and everyday life.
Elliot Ordway, Business Development Manager here at Betts says “I listen every day for great content about discipline, ownership, and mindset adjustment.”
The Truth Barrel
Life isn’t easy. And most people have secrets they don’t discuss: affairs, fears, challenges, double lives, inner struggles. The Truth Barrel, with author Neil Strauss and pro athlete Gabby Reece sweat the truth out of the most famous, knowledgeable, and interesting people in the world.
Lauren Skuchas, Principal, People Operations in our San Francisco office is a fan: “This podcast is a figurative and literal encapsulation of the juxtaposition between two lives and perspectives. The hosts hash out life’s most intimate challenges in health, relationships, and all things personal fortitude while literally sitting and sweating in a small barrel sauna. Plus, Gabby is an idol of mine.”
That’s it for now… more to come!
