Knowing what is going on in the industry you are interested in is helpful; this can help you focus on what interests you and think of questions to ask during interviews. Managers prefer talking to candidates who understand the market. If you don’t know where to start when looking for the latest in tech sales, check out the following blogs to follow while on the job hunt below.

TechCrunch

TechCrunch might be the go-to website for any job seeker looking to break into tech sales. Keep an eye out for companies raising money to hire and companies doing unusual things in new spaces. The Muse

For From companies hiring right now to job search tips, The Muse covers everything. This blog is a great spot for job seekers who don’t know exactly what they want to do. If you don’t have experience dealing with cover letters and email follow-ups, they offer tips and formats. Forbes

Knowing where VCs are focusing their attention is a great indication of new companies or industry-changing products that are on the rise.
