Well, the holidays are over. Depending on your perspective, that can be a sad thing, or, honestly, kind of a relief. In any case, the new year is an opportunity for self-improvement, to capitalize on last year’s achievements and see how far you can take them between now and next January.

Enhancing the hiring process with Betts Connect
2019 saw the launch of Betts Connect, the new platform empowering top companies and talented professionals to connect with each other more easily than ever. By the end of the year, thousands of sales, marketing, and people operations professionals had built profiles showcasing key elements you can’t always see on a traditional job board – things like: typical deal size and cycle, top accounts worked, salary expectations, and key accomplishments. We now have companies getting onto the platform, drawing from this broad talent network to scale their teams.

Our first 2020 resolution is to scale up the momentum for the companies and professionals using Betts Connect. That means empowering more companies to streamline their hiring process, more talented professionals to advance their careers, and more amazing connections.
We like meeting people, and want to do more of it
In-person meetings have long been a big part of our culture at Betts Recruiting. That’s how we kick off the lion’s share of our partnerships with both companies and professionals. And from our Tech Crawl events to the events we host at our offices, we relish the opportunity to connect in person with the exciting people in our talent network.
That’s why another one of our 2020 resolutions is to create new opportunities for face time. And that starts with Betts First Thursdays, a new casual monthly meet-and-greet at our San Francisco office. Betts First Thursdays is a great chance to stop by, meet the team, and have a beer or a soda on us. All are welcome, even if you’re not actively working with one of our recruiters – we just like to connect!
