FAQs

Is this a full-cycle recruitment role?

No, it’s only sourcing. You’ll only be responsible for bringing in candidates.

How many hours a week will this take?

As many hours as you want to invest, the more people you place the more you’ll get paid. It’s really up to you. Typically, we ask for about 2 hours a week.

Can it lead to a full-time role?

Anything is possible but we’re looking for people interested in an on-going side-hustle for now.

Why do you need fractional recruiters?

Betts is working on hundreds of opportunities and we’re always looking to increase our candidate pipeline and always looking to get our community involved.

Can I do this job from abroad or remote?

This role will be fully remote but we prefer US-based candidates at this moment in time.

Talk to me about candidate ownership?

The Fractional Recruiter will hold the candidate rights for the lesser of 6 months from the date of introduction or the time it takes to make the placement. After a 6 month period or after the candidate has been placed Betts will assume ownership of the candidate going forward.

Who will work with the sourced candidate?

The Fractional Recruiter will source and quickly screen all candidates. After the candidate is deemed qualified the fractional recruiter will introduce the candidate to their appropriate Betts contact. The Betts team will then take responsibility for the candidate and lead them through the interview process. After you introduce a candidate you are done!

What will happen if the candidate is hired and doesn't work out?

If the candidate does not remain in the role through the guarantee the Fractional Recruiter is not liable and will retain their commission.

Will I receive a laptop?

No, you will need to already have a laptop.

Will it cost any money to get started/buy any licenses?

No, we will be providing you with any licenses that you’ll need.

Do I need to be available at certain times?

That is entirely up to you. You get what you put in out of it! The recruiter you’re working with will likely have a standing meeting with you for 15-30 mins a week. Sourcing can be done according to your schedule and same with candidate screening calls.

Can I do this while having a full-time role?

Yes!

Why do I need recruitment experience?

You need at least 2-3 years GTM recruiting experience as the onboarding process is quick and recruiting training will not be provided.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within 72 hours.

Who will be managing me?

You will be paired with a seasoned Betts recruiter who will welcome and onboard you.

How many open roles are there to work on? How are we assigned roles? (IE Are the fractional recruiters designated to a group of roles, or open season?)

That is entirely up to you. Your Betts contact will reach out to you every week, assess your bandwidth, and assign tasks accordingly.

Are roles solely SDR, AE and CS? Or are there strategic roles too?

You will work on SDR, AE, EAE and CS roles. Assignments will depend on the roles you’ve worked on in the past.

How and how often do I get paid?

If a placement is made, 1% of the total base salary will be paid, on the 15th or EOM, 15 days after their start date. Ex. If the candidate starts on March 31st at a base salary of $100,000, the Fractional Recruiter will be paid $1,000, on April 15th.

What resources and technology will I have access to?

LinkedIn recruiter license seat and limited access to Betts Connect

Are there any extra accelerators?

Yes, we can explain to them during the interview process! But for example, for every 10 placements you make, you get accelerators for the next 10!
