POSITION 

As the Sales Manager, you will report to the CRO, managing and continuing to grow the GTM sales teams to scale proactive customer outreach, and to optimize revenue opportunities for Betts and our recruit-tech platform.  This candidate will be the first strategic, sales-specific leadership hire, which creates a clear path for upward mobility within the department as the teams continue to scale.  We are looking for a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales, preferably in SaaS sales, with a heavy focus on meeting annual sales targets.   The ideal candidate is excited about building out an already rapidly growing sales function from pure brand recognition to a repeatable and scalable team.  Cross-departmental collaboration with excellent communication is critical to success in the role.  Your duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and demonstrating exceptional negotiation and leadership skills. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Establish and build on best practices for implementing sales initiatives and strategies 
  • Leading and motivating your teams to reach sales targets, while cultivating lasting relationships to grow customer loyalty
  • Manage and oversee the prospecting, pipelines and KPIs of your sales teams, while developing and promoting weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports, and forecasting sales revenue and profit
  • Develop and manage the process to generate a consistent pipeline of target companies 
  • Communication and education to internal and external departments in all segments on Betts’ sales
  • Work with leadership to drive feedback on the growing requirements of segments and sales teams

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5+ yrs of successful track record in SaaS sales, with 2+ yrs management preferred
  • Proven track record in client sales and engagement, resulting in increased contract and revenue growth
  • Possesses a strong understanding our target client ecosystem
  • Resourceful and creative problem solving skills in order to provide optimal business solutions
  • Customer-first mindset, with a focus on seeking solutions to ensure greater lifetime value for our clients
  • Self-motivated, proactive leader with innovative ideas to inspire and promote customer loyalty and adoption
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building strong internal and external relationships
  • Proven ability to drive results, across multiple functions, and exceed allotted targets
  • Diplomacy, tact and poise under pressure, and a high tolerance for ambiguity
  • Growth mindset, proactive, and action-oriented
