POSITION 

As a Learning &  Development Associate, you are acting as the right-hand to the Head of L&D, and will become an important part of a fast-growing company.  You will be expected to perform a variety of tasks from onboarding, vendor management, scheduling, program management, as well as work collaboratively with a pretty cool team of like-minded, passionate ‘Bettsers’. 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Create new-hire onboarding schedules & calendars, and make changes as needed
  • Coordinate and send new-hire onboarding schedule(s) to new employees & their appropriate trainers 
  • Conduct monthly syncs with vendors, receiving updates and sharing information on offerings and/or pricing for renewals or other relevant information, in addition to measuring effectiveness
  • Become the go-to person as the company expert in Lessonly (LMS), including adding new content and updating existing content, as needed, understanding & refreshing training pathways, along with appropriate logos, and keeping up with Betts best practices and branding
  • Create pre and post training assessments, including the evaluation of overall training program to gauge success for each new-hire class
  • Create, schedule and track employee progress, stage, and success in coaching & enablement programs
  • Send, track and follow-up to ensure completion of Career Success Plans (CSPs) with employees and managers
  • Coordinate and schedule company-wide training and/or ‘spiffs’

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 2 years of experience in providing operational and administrative support in corporate training and development, or relevant field
  • Experience with Lessonly, Canva, G-suite (google slides, decks,  Excel are a definite plus
  • Extremely driven w/ a strong sense of urgency and initiative
  • Passionate w/ strong sense of pride in their work
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a knack for a ‘get-it-done’ attitude
  • Professional, personable, willing to go above and beyond
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
