As an BDR at Betts, you will be challenged with driving new business opportunities to our Account Executive team, consistently exceeding new account generation on a weekly basis and thrive in an environment that promotes from within.

- Grow new client relationships by analyzing, building, and managing a sales pipeline; ultimately you’ll be responsible for researching, prospecting, qualifying and handing over new business opportunities to help clients build their company
- Embrace our Customer Centric sales methodology
- Deliver above-and-beyond client experience through every communication channel
- Articulate the Betts value proposition to assess interest; think creatively about how we can optimize each client’s experience and enhance their ability to build their company effectively
- Expect the unexpected – you’ll adapt quickly and solve problems anytime things don’t go as planned
- Work across our customer segments and have the ability to change up messaging depending on who you speak to at these organizations
- Own effective meeting handoffs to the AE team to ensure the client has the ideal experience
- Drive new business growth through outreach via phone and email
- Cultivate and qualify new inbound leads that turn into quality opportunities
- Consistent prospecting and pipeline building with opportunity identification
- Proactively drive and nurture campaigns to keep leads warm
- Meet and exceed weekly metrics
- 1-2 years of sales experience
- Startup experience preferred or at least an understanding of what it takes to thrive in a startup environment
- BS or equivalent 4-year degree
- Self-starter who actively pursues new avenues to drive business and nurtures existing relationships
- Strong utilization of tech tools in the sales process
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish deep, genuine, relationships
- Proven track record of successful promotions, regardless of industry or role, we’re looking for candidates that can seize promotion paths
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Experience using Salesforce.com is a strong plus
