Commercial Account Executive

As a Commercial Account Executive at Betts, you will be challenged with driving revenue growth and new client acquisition, running a high-performance sales process, and continuing to develop our growing SaaS platform customer base.

This role will report directly to the CRO initially and will have the opportunity to grow within the organization as we continue to redefine the recruiting category.


  • Grow new client relationships by analyzing, building, and managing a sales pipeline, with the responsibility of closing clients on both our SaaS platform and as well as our standard recruiting services platform
  • Deliver above-and-beyond client experience through every communication channel 
  • Articulate the Betts value proposition to decision-makers to create and assess interest
  • Think creatively on how to assess & enhance the client’s ability to hire the candidates they need to build and scale their organizations
  • Expect the unexpected – you’ll adapt quickly and solve problems when things don’t go as planned
  • Work in a flourishing Commercial segment w/ the ability to prospect and close business
  • Own effective meeting handoffs from BDR and BDM team to ensure the client has the ideal experience 
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospect to close
  • Cultivate and qualify new inbound leads that turn into quality opportunities
  • Consistent prospecting and pipeline building with opportunity identification
  • Proactively drive and nurture campaigns to keep leads warm


  • 2-3 years of software sales experience
  • Startup experience preferred 
  • Self-starter who actively pursues new avenues to drive business while nurturing existing relationships
  • Strong utilization of tech tools in the sales process
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish deep, genuine relationships
  • Proven track record of forecasting, meeting & exceeding quota expectations
  • Experience using is a strong plus

Betts currently offers medical, dental, vision, FSA, and 401k benefits for eligible employees, as well as a flexible paid time off policy, paid holidays, parental leave, referral bonuses, and quarterly awards. This role offers a base salary range of $80,000 – $95,000 DOE, and $160,000 – $190,000 OTE and equity shares.
