VP of Sales

Betts Recruiting is seeking a proven, experienced Vice President of Sales to lead, build, develop our team of Recruiters and Managers nationwide. We support teamwork, collaboration and creating a winning spirit across the team that elevates performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational direction to our Recruiters, Recruiting Coordinators and Business Development Managers.
  • Develop and execute creative and efficient go-to-market strategies alongside the team to seed growth and expand in new markets
  • Drive alignment and cross functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Account Management teams to optimize our customer experience
  • Serve as an exceptional manager and act as an advocate to drive the achievement of individual/team business and results-based growth targets
  • Accountable to measuring weekly pipeline development activities tied to monthly pipeline targets.
  • Leading and coordinating weekly forecast and pipeline review meeting.
  • Create a culture reflective of Bett’s Core Values that promotes open communication and that rewards people for working together and achieving excellence
  • Take a very hands on approach to management, including shadowing/running sales calls to the team and participating in continuous team trainings
  • Mentoring and development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new recruiters on the sales process.
  • Serve as a public face of Bett’s in meetings with clients’ executive teams, at conferences, and through thought leadership activities
  • Be a tireless advocate for our customers within the Bett’s team and company

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of sales management experience combined with a proven track record of success in a similar environment.
  • 7+ years of quota carrying sales and experience as an individual contributor. Preferably consultative enterprise sales experience.
  • Recent experience managing first time managers and a young, rapidly growing sales team
  • Demonstrable track record of above target performance for the team, especially in a startup environment
  • Strong track record of building, leading and mentoring high performing sales teams; able to drive a high-impact culture
  • Managed at least 8 direct reports
  • Deep prospecting experience and methodology
  • Experience managing team through Salesforce
  • Performance and metrics driven; experience holding teams accountable and driving consistent overachievement
  • Strategic and tactical experience scaling startups through multiple phases of growth
