Strategic Account Director

We are looking for a Strategic Account Director who will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and managing strategic accounts, long-term client relationships and working with our clients to improve inefficiencies. This will be achieved through sound account planning, prospecting to identify high-quality clients, qualifying, understanding the client business environment, educating clients on Betts services along with identifying ways the company can assist clients in solving its hiring and growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of strategic account management experience and proven success in a relevant role
  • Sales experience managing & growing a portfolio of customers valued between $3-5M
  • Sales experience carrying customer growth quota
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Tech savy and committed to an ongoing use of a CRM
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution, and not problem oriented
  • Excellent attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Within 1 month you will:

  • Attend our two week onboarding program where you’ll learn all aspects about the business
  • Shadow business development meetings and client kickoff meetings
  • Work closely with our CEO to develop a client engagement and retention strategy

Within 2 months you will:

  • Perform account reviews for all our clients to see how Betts can further our partnership with them as well as to get feedback on how the relationship has been going.
  • Develop a strategy for collecting ongoing client feedback and establish an effective feedback loop for client needs and our recruitment strategy
  • Develop key account success metrics

Within 3 months you will:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all account management matters
  • Assist with challenging account requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet revenue goals
  • Forecast and track key account metrics and prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
