Content Marketing Manager

As a Content Marketing Manager, you will join a growing marketing team who is taking Betts to the next level. You’ll be responsible for the strategy, creation and execution of content across all platforms, having a direct impact on the awareness, direction and growth of the company. The role is based in San Francisco, reporting to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategy and create compelling content to drive traffic, engage and convert customers while building brand recognition
  • Create content including blog posts, email campaigns, website copy, white papers, eBooks, case studies, webinars, videos, presentations, speeches, job postings and other collateral
  • Own social media strategy and execution to grow followers and engagement, experimenting with new channels and media
  • Research current industry trends to drive thought leadership ideas that fuel content, press coverage, awareness, and overall brand reputation
  • Update web content, working with creative and development teams to ensure content is relevant and targeted to drive traffic, engage visitors, and convert to qualified leads
  • Write and edit messaging throughout company to ensure consistent branding and voice
  • Build and regularly track benchmarks for measuring leads and ROI
  • Partner closely with creative and ops teams to optimize delivery strategy for content, implementing best practices and proactively managing content/demand gen calendar
  • Provide accurate and timely project reporting on all content marketing activities
  • Ensure content marketing efforts support SEO and keyword targeting
  • Analyze web metrics and dashboards with an emphasis on measuring content production traffic and conversions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience managing marketing campaigns with a proven track record of driving growth
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of lead generation, marketing automation tools and strategies
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and self-directed; able to manage time and meet deadlines for concurrent projects/assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, or related field
