Recruiting Coordinator

As a Recruiting Coordinator you are the first person that our candidates interact with when they start their journey with Betts Recruiting. You’ll be responding to inbound prospects who are looking for new opportunities and be responsible for finding rockstar candidates of your own to pass along to a Betts recruiter. You will have a significant impact on the success of the recruiting process by acting as the gateway between our recruiters and candidates.


  • Passion for sales and a desire to be numerically measured
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining organization and sharp attention to detail
  • Able to deliver consistent results in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing startup environment
  • Tech savvy and committed to an ongoing use of a CRM
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution-oriented
  • Excellent attitude and ability to collaborate with a team
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred  

Within 4 weeks you will:

  • Ability to manage and execute various projects at a time
  • Superior organization and time management skills

  • Cold-call prospective candidates

Within 6 to 8 weeks you will:

  • Handle sourcing activities for an assigned segment and/or team
  • Qualify or disqualify candidates based on client specs
  • Source candidates by using databases, LinkedIn, and Salesforce
  • Schedule meetings with qualified candidates for team of Recruiters
  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
  • Deliver on expected weekly/monthly metrics
  • Attend client kick offs with recruiters
  • Sit in on new candidate meetings with recruiters
  • Cold-call prospective candidates

After 5 to 6 months:

  • Start working with your Manager to identify which recruiting segment you’d like to move into as a full-desk recruiter
  • Attend client kick offs with recruiters
  • Sit in on new candidate meetings with recruiters
  • Start building your own candidate pipeline to support you when you get promoted to your new segment
