Account Executive

As an Account Executive at Betts, you will be challenged with driving revenue growth and new client acquisition, running a high-performance sales process, and continue to develop our growing Connect platform customer base. Responsibilities will include:

  • Grow new client relationships by analyzing, building, and managing a sales pipeline; ultimately you’ll be responsible for closing clients on both the Connect platform as well as our Recruiting services 
  • Embrace our Customer Centric sales methodology
  • Deliver above-and-beyond client experience through every communication channel 
  • Articulate the Betts value proposition to decision-makers to create and assess interest; think creatively about how we can optimize each client’s experience and enhance their ability to hire the candidates they need to build and scale their organizations
  • Expect the unexpected- you’ll adapt quickly and solve problems anytime things don’t go as planned
  • Work in our flourishing SMB segment (under 100 employees) and have the ability to both hunt and close business in this segment
  • Own effective meeting handoffs from BDR and BDM team to ensure the client has the ideal experience 
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospect to close; drive revenue growth through outreach via phone and email
  • Cultivate and qualify new inbound leads that turn into quality opportunities
  • Consistent prospecting and pipeline building with opportunity identification
  • Proactively drive and nurture campaigns to keep leads warm
  • Meet and exceed weekly metrics

About you:

  • 3-5 years of experience and track record of success in SaaS sales a plus
  • Startup experience preferred or at least an understanding of what it takes to thrive in a startup environment
  • Self-starter who actively pursues new avenues to drive business and nurtures existing relationships
  • Strong utilization of tech tools in the sales process
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish deep, genuine, relationships
  • Proven track record of forecasting and meeting and exceeding quota expectations
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience using Salesforce.com is a strong plus
